Where's The Water?

Did you know that in most cities, especially larger ones, not everyone in the city is on the same water well? Unless it is an extremely small town (you know, the kind that you'd miss if you blink your eyes), it doesn't happen. Well, what's a water well? We hear about it but when most of us think of a water well, we have a vivid image in our head of a farm, and near that farm is a hole in the ground with a bucket hanging over it. That's how it was in the old days, but yes, most farms do have wells (just about all of them in fact), but do not have the buckets anymore. Water wells have gotten more sophisticated since then.

Tap water in most cases, comes from a water well too. However, since many more people are in need of water than a house on a farm, a pump that is attached to the water well will pump the water out of the ground and into an "elevation tank". The water wells used by the city tend to be deeper to supply the large number of people in need of water. The elevation tank is used to store water that has been pumped out of the ground to meet times of greater demand when alot of people are using the water at the same time (such as in the morning). When water that has been pumped from a well, it is raised (and stored) in this elevation tank, it automatically creates enough pressure, due to gravity, for the water to flow back down at a rate fast enough and through a main pipe, and into many other pipes branching off of it. In some cases, an elevation tank by be a great distance from the water well pumping water into it. In this way, water is distributed to the entire community. The elevation tank may be near the water well, or there may be pipes leading from the water well to the elevation tank. At times, more than one water well will pump to store water in one elevation tank. Most elevation tanks look like a giant mushroom, and will have the name of the city written on the side of it. You'll generaly spot a city's elevation tank miles away before you reach the city.

Most of us drink water everyday, but probably never wonder how it makes it from the water well to the inside of our home. If you have never thought about this, join in with the millions of your fellow citizens who hasn't. Yet, we bathe ourselves in, drink, and cook with thousands of gallons of water every year. In fact, it is the one thing we put in our bodies more than anything else. After all, the human body is mostly water. For most of us, the water we consume, whether through bathing, drinking, or cooking, has been on a long road trip. How long it has been travelling, we do not know. You know your water has been running around in the pipes if no matter how long you leave the cold faucet on, it never really has a cold feel to it. This is especially the case if you live in the South, where the ground can get pretty warm, and winters aren't really that cold. Also, some pipes run deeper in the ground than others, and the warmer the pipe the more "action" you'll have between it and the water.

How deep does your well go? Well, in larger cities it can vary greatly. Some wells will be as shallow as 300 feet and other wells will be over a 1,000 feet. A well driller will keep digging until one hits water. Through experience, the driller can tell if the water is fit for consumption or not. Some types of water that drillers have "hit" have better quality and can impart better health than other types of waters. That is why even for wells on farms, one family may hit bad water and another family may hit good water with life-promoting properties that for whatever reason, people seem to live long years from drinking it. Especially suspect this when you see alot of old people in a cluster. I have seen this many times myself, and it has become very, very obvious. The reason you may have not heard of this before is due to the fact that, the entire situation lies beneath the ground, and it would take the cooperation of the old people and perhaps even an intrusion into their peronal life. It is a very complex issue to try to explain.

As for your city's well water, no two wells are exactly the same depth, therefore, no too waters will be exactly the same. What lies between those rocks would take years to figure out. Some old folks believe water that has gone through a sulfur bed is it. I believe there's a ring of truth to this. My own research on people who were very old, more often than not, appear to have pointed to some type of sulfur that was in their water. This is just some kind of "extra special" water, but there are probably others. Note that, the water company is not trying to supply you with a fountain of youth, they are just trying to supply you with water that, according to their standards, is "drinkable". My observations indicates however that in some cases they (by chance) strikes water deep in the ground with lifegiving properties for some folks, and the people living the right distance and with type of pipe going to it reap the greatest benefits. This is especially the case if they grow their food with this water and cook mostly for themselves versus eating out of cans and processed foods which, by the way, was prepared with someone elses water and therefore, has gone through someone else's piping system. Between your pipes and there's, things can get really interesting. In some instances, they may even have better water, but the container its stored has negated some of this fact and the magnetic quality...well, good luck. Just remember this, water will always interacts with whatever its in (or flows through) until it reaches your body to interact with you.

So you may ask yourself, "How far do I live from the source of the water I am consuming?" I say this because it is alot better to consume a little of a bad thing at a short distance than alot of a bad thing because of long distance. Also, it is better to consume alot of a good thing a short distance than a little of a good thing from a long distance. This "distance" I speak of are imparted by the pipes and the material it is made from. There's a list of piping materials to choose from. Some may even have nutritional value to them and will further detoxify water(such as some clay pipes) and others may negatively impact your health (such as PVC and asbestos). To give you an idea of how extensive this piping network is, if you have a small city of 500,000 people, the city's underground system may have over 500 miles of pipes running beneath the ground and that is where your water is coming from. Unless the pipe is self is made up of a very very toxic material. This can be a bit tricky and not something your water company will want to be involved in, but you can get an idea. They may respond by saying, the water is all mixed up. This is partly true. Just ask them where is the nearest water well to you and where's the elevation tank. If they offer you a "water tour" , tell them you are not talking about wastewater (water you've already used), you just wouldn't mind knowing how long your water has travelled. They cannot tell you all the types of pipes your water has travelled though, and simply will not know. No one will know as a matter of fact unless they dug up the entire ground from your place to the water source. They are not the ones who down laid the pipes, and even though they may have an idea of all the types of water pipes beneath the ground that's not something they may be eager to share, especially if they are aware that there are some very unwanted types, such as asbestos pipes, and they have not all been removed in some neighborhoods. What is interesting, most of us will attempt to filter the water in our kitchen sink, but we consume a huge percentage of water through bathing.

The farther away from a water well (or elevation tank) you live and receive your water from, the "older" your water is going to be and the longer it has been collecting "pipe material". There is no getting around this because people can't live equal distances from the same water source. Every time a new home is built, they simply tap into a water main and unless they have problems with pressure they can care less how long the water travels through those pipes. Starting from the water main on your street, if you were to follow it, it'll lead to a network that will take you all the way to the water source, which is the water's elevation tank in most cases, and it others, straight to the water well. The further you live away from the water well, or its elevation tank, the more likely your water can end up going through several different kinds of piping materials.

What does it matter if water sits in pipes? The pipes are clean right? It is not the "cleaniness' that is the issue, it is the pipe itself, and the chemicals that have been added to your water that were meant to kill bacteria, not interact with the pipes. When water is "treated" for your health benefit to kill bacteria or bleach your teeth with fluoride, a serious chemical reactions takes place between these chemicals and the pipe, especially fluoride as it is one of the most corrosive elements (meaning it reacts with things is comes in contact with), and that's why it kills germs very well. The chemical reactions can especially take place if the peipe is unable to build up a "scale" or protective coating, such as PVC. However, it is for this reason PVC is preferred because it is cheap, flexible, not biodegradeable so you don't have to replace it, and worthless to steal for metal thieves. Depending on the expertise and knowlege of your water company, they can make or break your health, but the real culprit is the one noone is watching..the reactions between the water and those pipes.

When you turn your water faucet on it may or may not be "fresh". What do I mean by fresh? I mean water that has been sitting in the pipes, picking up pipe material. Here is an example. Say you live 4 miles from the elevation tank but this is where your water is coming from. That is a long way to travel and that's alot of pipes that water has got to go through. If bleach has been added (such as chlorine or especially fluoride) your water can start off by leaving an elevation tank, go through some big fat PVC or cast iron pipes or some other type of pipe, then travel through say some copper pipes, go back into PVC piping, even travel through some asbestos piping (some cities haven't removed them all), go through a cast iron water main pipe on your street, then through a copper pipe to your home, then through more PVC piping in your home, through a small copper pipe to your hot water heater, or simply through more PVC piping to your cold faucet. You have alot of potential for "pipe collection". The newer the community, the more likely you're going to have alot of PVC piping beneath. There are many other types to be found under the ground that is carrying water. It can depend on if a pipe has burst and has been replaced in the past (whic nowadays they are almost always replaced with PVC), or it may depend on if a new "popular" material was being used at the time a community was being built. If copper was popular (and affordable) at the time, then it may be copper. There was a time when asbestos piping was popular and affordable, and was placed beneath the ground. Because asbestos is so outright toxic, some cities has made the efforts to replace them quickly, while other cities are still trying, one pipe at a time. At any rate, unless you live near the water well, you water may have travelled through several differnt kinds of piping by the time it makes it to you. All the while this water has travelled, it has to bypassed electrical grounding, electromagnetic radiation, there may be a hole in one of the pipe somewhere and is exposed to the ground beneath, etc. Indeed, in many cases your water has travel through 'some rough' places. There is a very elaborate network beneath your feet call "underground pipe city" and it is competing with another network beneath called "underground electric city".

Your water company will give you a water report for free, but remember, this water report is the quality of the water when it left their facility. Thus, this is only half of the story. The pipes take over after that, and there is no water report for this, this part is your responsibilty. This is important because sometimes, (as if the corrosion from pipes isn't enough) sewage can contaminate your drinking water and you can't taste it. The water company is aware of all the propblems that can arise between the water source and your home. Some residents may become aware of this issue only when something doesn't taste right. Most of the time however you can't taste it. The pipe can be in your home, or anywhere along the extensive network of pipes beneath the ground. The water company have their own list of things to test for, but an expert chemist in the materials industry would probaly know every harmful compound that should be tested for, as pipes themselves are made up of a long list of materials and metals that can affect our pineal gland, kidney, heart, liver, etc. Our water company is not a science lab and that is beyond the scope of their expertise. In small quantities, we do not feel it, but over time, and especially of us who are getting larger dosages, this pipe material begins to affect our health. The more we age, the quicker the impact it will have as we begin to lose the ability to detoxify these substance.

People use water throughout the day, and it is drawn from the elevation tank as needed and then that elevation tank fills up again during times of low usage (i.e. overnight). The fluoride and chlorine is generally added right when the water has been pumped from the water well, and before it goes to the elevation tank, and the levels of this bleach or whatever else is added, is checked daily. Sometimes accidents do happen because we are human. Can you make a perfect cup of coffee every morning for thousands of people? No.

If one neighborhood is using an excessive amount of water, the city will tap into a water main in another part of the city, thus now you are getting into water from another well, and you're drinking "mixed water". Now, how far you live away from the well you receive your water from, and the type of piping that water has to run through can have a huge impact on your health. If fact, the impact is so big, I did some research and found that it seems to be the number one factor behind people living to very ripe old ages. The evidence is astounding. For more on this, "Habits of very old people".

Wells can run pretty deep and you will begin to get into a fair amount of "magnetic water" once it goes beyond a certain depth. Yes, water starts out magnetic when it comes out of the ground in most cases. What happens to it after that depends on the pipes its running through and how long its been 'sitting'. Some people never drink magnetic water because every ounce of water that enter their house is "old water" because the water has been running around in the pipes all day, everyday. Furthermore, the water may be exposed to electromagnetic fields as it makes it to your home. For example, if you live in an apartment or townhome, you know electric wires run through those walls, think about the effect that is having on your water. The further up you live, the further up that water has to climb. Your already " piped up, and sometimes "dead water" now gets to sit in your pipes.

Some people's who are keenly aware of the importance of the nourishment of water, live on well water, but then somehow their wells get contaminated. You may not know of the contamination unless it is blatantly obvious. I was told about one case of well contaminations when suddenly many of the babies in the area developed blue baby syndrome. Someone had contaminated the ground with nitrates and the nitrates eventually made it into the groundwater, which is where that hole for the water well is pumping from. Situations like this is unfortunate, because many times these people may have been living quite healthy for many years then someone contaminated their well and they had to "tap" into the cities water. When these people with contaminated wells "tap into the city water guess what? They are going to tap into the nearest pipe that has water in it, which may only be a few hundred feet away. The problem is however, the water may have come from somewhere closer to the city and now there water is travelling a much longer distance.

The design of the water system for a city can get really interesting. Some times you'll find a well that pumps water into and elevation tank just a block away. Other times you'll find the well in one spot and the elevation tank clear across town. It depends on whether or not its "feasible", i.e its visiblity and the cost is a factor. How would you like to see your elevation tank right in the middle of downtown? If you are lucky, your water travels a very short distance before it gets to you. Some people stay very close to the water well, and the pipes was laid down when the city was still small, and their water never makes it to the elevation tank, and they get fresh well water from the deep down under day in and day out.

What about the rain? Well, when it rains, a part of the rainwater (maybe 25% of it) ends up in the ground and gets "recharged". The rainwater flows through rocks and beds, purifying itself as it goes through and picking up magnetic qualities. The deeper it travels to the center of the Earth, the more magnetic it will be. It can go through several types of rocks, different beds in the ground, pass over fossils of animals that have died years and years ago, depositing contaminants along the way and picking up new material. Unfortunately, some of this new material can very well be some chemical that was dumped on the ground in such high amounts and of such a quality, it can't be purified. If you are on surface water, this does not apply to you. It is no telling what is in surface water, it is more likely to have a higher amount of bacteria, viruses, and even human feces, as surface water may come from lakes, rivers, and streams. It has not gone through the natural purification and recharge process that occurs with groundwater. The purification is done entirely by your local water company, and we're talking about some "serious" processing that has to be done to make surface water "drinkable".

You can help keep your groundwater of better quality by thinking about what you pour down the drain, and toss on the streets. Whatever the ground is contaminated with, a part of it will eventually make its way into your groundwater. Also, many of us do not think about it, but many of the foods that have already been prepared for you in some way in the grocery store-it took water from someone else's piping system to prepare them. We generally read the ingredients, which are the only things the maker of these products knowingly put in it and even they generally don't know about the water in which they are using to prepare it, no more than you know about all the pipes your own water has travelled through. The water used to prepare these products however will either add or subtract from your health. Curiously enough, many old people cook their own food.

Of course, all of ther U.S., there are issues of water shortages due to droughts, so every effort the water companies make, is to try to conserve water. Some people ask the question "The Earth is mostly water, how can there be a water shortage?" Well, the Earth is mostly saltwater. Humans have to drink freshwater, like some fish have to live in freshwater. Saltwater is unfit for human consumption, and the cost of to try to purify the water would be unaffordable.

Radiate Me

You will be surprised at how much EMF/microwaves you're really hit with each day.

Have you ever heard of someone who has been exposed to too many X-rays? Do you use your cell phone and drive at the same time? Are you eager to get as many frequent flyer miles as you can? Is your cordless telephone on a stand next to your bed? Do you even have a passive knowledge of the environment of where you live? Does it really matter? Well, all you have to do is meet someone who has been "zapped" too many times, and they will assure that it does matter. There is a strange disease emerging in the U.S., that very few doctors are only just beginning to become aware of. It is called "electromagnetic sickness".

What is electromagnetic sickness? Electromagnetic sickness is the result of a human being exposed to too many electromagnetic fields (EMFs), too much ionic radiation (IR), or a combination of both. It is also called "microwave sickness" In these persons, the exposure has reached the point where the body is no longer able to neutralize incoming EMFs and IR, and they can actually "feel it". What has occured is, the immune system has begun to become dysfunctional because it has been subjected to "severe electromagnetic stress". The fact that such a phenomenom even exist may sound strange, but as you read on, will see that this can happen to just about anybody. No one is totally immune to the effects of EMFs. Do to differences in our makeup, lifestyle, and health status, some of us are simply more vunerable than others. Even the most robust and healthy persons in the world have their limit, and are still affected. believe everyone should avoid sources of radiation and EMFs as much as possible, but this is especially important for any one who is chronically ill, as the immune system plays a huge role in all chronic disease.

When we think of putting something in our bodies, we think of the food we eat, the liquids we drink, and even our thoughts. The reason is these are tangible things that we are aware of, and we have a great deal of control over them. When it comes to our knowledge about EMFs, many of us would be lucky to even know what it stands for, but at most, we are simply aware that it exists. That is because we really don't understand it, and do not understand how it affects the body. To top it off, we cannot "see it". Or can we? A couple of years ago, I purchased a device called a Trifield meter. This device, allows you to indirectly "see " EMF signals.

After the information I gained from using this device, it is no doubt in my mind, that some people are ill because their immune system is dysfunctioning, largely in part, either to EMFs, IR, or both. I was motivated to purchase a Trifield meter for reasons you will read about (perhaps) later. Too much exposure to one can precipitate how you will react to the other. You can dramatically cut your exposure to EMFs by taking a simple measure-distancing yourself away from the source.

In the U.S., extensive studies showing the effect of EMFs and IR is limited, and for good reason. To enroll people in a research study so we can intenionally zap them with EMFs and IRs, and to figure out what dose it would take to make them sick would be downright unethical. Such a study would also be difficult to control, because their are simply too many sources of exposure, and its is pretty difficult to control someone's environment. Add this to the possibility that the results of such a study may not be immediately available, as history has taught us the results of environmental impact on health tend to develop over the long term. In a few cases however such as electromagnetic sickness or the sudden appearance of disease may be very rapid. In this is the case, especially if you have recently changed your environment, look around.

That is not to say that such studies do not exist. As a matter of fact, there have been hundreds of studies investigating the affect of EMFs or microwaves on animals and humans. Some of the affects of microwaves are so well-known that it has been used, and is still used, by the U.S. military. Some countries are veterans of EMF/microwave knowledge. To name a few are Russia, Sweden (which have a significant amount of people suffering from electromagnetic sickness and recognizes it as a disability), Canada, and Germany (the place where doctors and members of the community have come together to address this issue). When it comes to knowledge about EMFs and microwaves, most of the citizens of the U.S. are unaware of the effects and have never heard of the term "electromagnetic/microwave sickness". In Sweden, it is called "electrohypersensitivity" or EHS. Some people in the U.S. have heard about it however it was after they had become victims of it themselves. Learning more about your environment can help you avoid many of the woes that it can cause. My motto is- if you are sick and the doctors can't 'cure' you or you just can't seem to get over your illness, many times you will find that there is an environmental cause, who's impact is so huge, no amount of drug, vitamin, or "psychotherapy" can overcome it. If the environment is the cause, a few changes can correct the issue.

Most of what we know about EMFs and IR exposure is data gathered "in retrospect". and the exposures were unintentional. In other cases as you may have read about certain inhumane incidences in other countries where "zapping" an entire population was very intentional. Whether intentional or not however, the immune system cannot discriminate. Many of the problems that develop to EMFs and IR take years to develop, but that should not negate their importance. Unless the exposure is intense and develops quickly, we may never understand the full impact it has on our health.

So what do we know? We do know that flying in a plane exposes you to a large dose of IR, a particular type of radiation that is more dangerous to health than others. That is why you're told to not have too many X-rays. We know that people living or working in certain "electro" environments have higher rates of certain cancers than their counterparts. We hear of case studies that appear to be more than just a conincidence, such as the belief by some that Johnny Cochran's brain tumour was due to his use of his cell phone on that side of his head. I personally know of a lady who already had pre-existing lung cancer, and when it metastatized to her head, the new tumour grew on the same side she always used her home cordless telephone. What's interesting, the doctors used radiation to "nuke it". I also read about a man who was so affected with electromagnetic sickness, he had to where a wire mesh suit to work everyday. Others have left the country, or moved to remote places. More commonly, I have heard many persons who say that after talking on their cell phone, their face feels "hot" or have a headache. Even I have personally experienced this one myself.

A physician at a very prestigious university informed me that she does not put her cell phone in her pocket anymore because it literally "burnt her leg". Someone else informed me that her laptop "burnt her arm" while carrying it. Yet still, a physician informed me of something that I thought is one of the most strangest thing that could every happen to a person. This doctor said that he is aware that there are some people who can "hear radio signals in their head". Hear the radio playing? I thought he was joking but he wasn't. Although it may be tempting for many doctors to put such persons on psychiatric drugs, he decided to investigate further and came to the conclusion that some of these people did not have a neurological problem at all. Apparently, the almagam fillings in their mouth were tuning in to certain radio frequencies. He explained that he had personally seen patients that feel pain or heat in their mouth, near the almagam fillings, when exposed to certain environments.

I had a dentist tell me that certain minerals and metals in the diet can react with the almagam fillings in your mouth, and he suspect this can make people vulnerable to certain "electrical phenomenom." An understanding of all of these cases is beyond the scope of my knowledge, doctors and scientists knowledge, and the persons affected. In all of these cases however, the most likely treatment would be to remove the suspected cause. These incidences are ones in which you simply don't wait for that scientic study to be published proving or disproving this can happen. The studies are already out there. I have read many case studies already, from people who's occupation were from many different backgrounds. EMF overdose does not discriminate, although some people are suspected to be genetically more subsceptible than others.

The invisibility of an environmental exposure as the cause of sickness is what normally make persons affected by it sick. Many times when a person falls chronically ill, the first place they begin to look is diet, then they may look at their family history, and some may go as far as looking around their environment, and may be disappointed to come up "empty-handed". Time and cost is always a factor. They may finally admit that the stress and time spent trying to figure out what may have caused the disease may outweigh any benefit of knowing, especially if its not something that can be fixed. Rarely, when it comes to the environment, can a problem not be fixed. In the case of radio waves, wireless, and electricity, which generate EMFs and IR, the power of EMFs is such that, their removal has totally cured asthma in some people, reversed diabetes in others, put a complete stop to anxiety disorders, and reversed high blood pressure. Their removal has a positive effect on the heart.

Even if you are not sick, or sick from some other cause, this information will be helpful to you as avoiding EMFs can only lead to an improvement in your health over the long term. Some people have been surrounded by EMFs so much, they don't know what they're missing. Its only when they go into an electro free zone and that they can tell the huge difference.

The invisibility of an environmental exposure as the cause of sickness can be very allusive. Unlike many diseases we know that cause a person to be chronically ill, sickness do to EMFs regardless if it is the main cause or having a secondary effect, it is the one thing that you can "fix", and quite quickly to. The impact it may have on your health may not be apparent immediately, however it may pay off over the long run.

To illustrate that problems with magnetic fields can pose problems right here in the U.S., I am going to share with you some experiences I had in Nashville, TN. For a more elaborate story, on this and other environmental problems that one may face read "My Story".

Nashville is a very old city and the people are very nice, and you can't beat those drop down gorgeous colorful large rocks (boulders) you past while driving along the highway. What is interesting in Nashville however, is I came across several people who claimed they can "feel" something coming from any plugged-in device (this is electromagnetic sickness). One such lady with this problem had metal braces in her mouth and when she smiled, her gums looked completely white. I suspect this lady was very anemic. For whatever reason, she thought something was wrong with her gallbladder.

Another I met in a suburb of Nashville was renting a house and invited me into her home. Well, after about 10 minutes of being in this lady's house I began to get a "raw" headache out of nowhere, and every few minutes, I'd feel a sharp pain. While there, she shared with me that she had been ill for 2 years, and doctors couldn't figure out why. She had been quite ill and was still suffering, and said to me "Everyone's time will come at some point and if God calls me home, I'm ready to go." She said she "think" it may be the house and bought another house, then tried to rent that one out but no one stayed in it long enough. I said, "how long have you been sick?" She said "Two years". I said "and you bought this house two years ago? Maybe its the house, I dunno." Before I could finish talking though, I felt that sharp "zap" again. She tried to rent it to me and I said "It is a beautiful, no make that "gorgeous" home, but gosh my head hurts." I decided to leave. I got another one of those "zaps" on my way out the door.

When I got to my car I noticed I'd left my Trifield meter, which could measure both EMFs and electrical radiation, in the front seat of my car. I had gotten pretty good at using it and was aware of many of the sources that would give me a nice strong signal. On impulse, I went back to her house and rang her doorbell with the intent of asking her if I could check her computer or something. Before she even made it to the door however, I noticed the Trifield meter was literally "bouncing all over the place." On previous occasions, when I was in someone's home and we "played with the Trifield meter" I would always notice that in most cases, the Trifield meter would settle on a "resting position" (which would generally between 1 and 5). While on this woman's porch, the meter would shoot all the way up to 100 (an extremely high range), then back again. I think that hand would have gone even further had the numbers been there.

She let me re-enter her home to take measurements. Before I started measuring however, I got "zapped" again. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the EMF hand on the Trifield hand jump all the way to the right, about the same time this happened. I purposefully waited until it happened again and sure enough, that is what was happening! I was pretty eager to find out where it was coming from. One other thing that intrigued me, the "resting position" the meter found in her house was a 12, the highest I'd seen while in a home. I felt weak just being in her house.

I walked around her house, meanwhile she was looking over my shoulder in confusion trying to figure out what was going on (and so was I). I ended up near a bedroom. She said that's where she slept. I said "Good Lord! What do you have in there?" I didn't see any electrical devices, but went in anyway and the signal got even higher. The Trifield reading had reached a "20" by the time I got to her bed, which was right near a window. In order to "follow the signal" I needed to go out of her house and go near that window. I never made it to the window.

When I went into this lady's backyard the signal jumped all the way to the right, and could go no further. Basically, the reading was "off the chart". I looked up and there it was. It was huge power line with black, very thick "wrappings", not like the thin ones you see on some streets. By this time also, I had a nice big fat migraine headache. I told her "You need to contact an electrician, or contact your local electric company. Your place is not grounded properly and is drawing power from that power line, or that power line is leaking." She said "Well, these were new homes and they built them very fast. I purchased before they were done building. I got a pretty good deal on the mortgage." In case some of you may wonder, no this was not a case of racial discrimination or someone taking advantage of the poor. This neighborhood actually reaked of wealth and the homes were beautiful, and formed a cul-de-sac. Obviously, this can happen to anyone.

As if to confirm suspicions that there were serious electrical/EMF problems in her area, as I was getting into my car she mentioned everyone in that lived on that street had an electronic device that turned on and off (all by itself); computers, printers, and electronic toys would flick on and off all by themselves at times. I eventually spoke with an electric company and was informed that this is what they call "dirty power". The man that told me was well aware of the phenomenon. He said the problem in these cases is "Who bears responsibility? The person who built the home next to it? Or the electric company?" At any rate, if you live in a city with high amounts of dirty power and you are exposed, they are not purposefully trying to make you ill from it. It is simply not in the budget to fix the problem. The effect of dirty power can be intensified due to our excessive reliance on cell phone techonology, which puts microwaves in the air.

Many of us are waddling around in an electromagnetic soup, whether we want to or not. If we "feel it" it may be that we have reached our limit, but history has taught us you don't have to feel a thing develop problems from EMFs/microwaves. Now, let's bring some of these signals to light.

A Trifield meter can tell you very quickly if you live near dirty power. It'll also tell you if there is a cell phone mast, but you can usually spot a cell phone mast with the naked eye. Whether you live in front of or behind this tower is the question, and how close. It is my understanding that the 'safe' EMF level in the U.S. is a reading of '3' (milligauss) in homes but in some countries, disease has been associated with numbers as low as 1. If you ever decide to invest in an EMF meter device, what has been previously been invisible will suddenly become very obvious, and be sure to get one that goes to at least 100. The one I used was of the non-digital type, and appeared to be very accurate.

By the way, you do not have to have a degree in engineering to use a Trifield meter. You'd be surprised at how simple they are to use.

Now, as "fun" as the above may sound there is a serious truth to all of this. After experimenting with the Trifield meter myself for awhile, I realized we get "zapped" so many times during the day it is unbelievable. I even began to wonder if it is behind some people's immune dysfunction, and their immune system "just can't get it together". In trying to keep up with today's fast paced technologies and the ever increasing usage of cell phones, cell phone mast, microwaves, computers, wireless connections, electronic toys and devices in homes, dirty electricity, and gadgets we put up close to our body, a few companies have invented devices to try to get rid of most, if not all, these signals. Orthe devices try to change the way these signals enter our body. One such device is called "a companion device for a Q-link". This device is primarily designed to work while driving in your car however may be used in the home as well. For those of you who have or plan to buy such as device read on, as there is something very important you should know about it. With the Trifield meter, I "accidentally discovered" something about the Q-link itself. The Q-link did not put out any EMF or electrical signals, however the charger for that thing (called a transformer and is no bigger than a cell phone charger), while plugged in, would put out EMF signals that were "off the chart". So for those of you using electronic devices to neutralize EMFs that must be plugged into a while to "charge it up", I recommend you stay at least 2 feet away it while it is chargin. Also, when you plug it in, do it quickly and get your hands off of it. It may sound like an exaggeration but let me tell you, the EMF's I measured from that tiny little charger for the Q-link device were putting off EMFs in a range of asgtronomical proportions. Mind you, this was only when the transformer was plugged into a wall plug, and it ONLY came from the transformer itself. I have heard that the Q-link device has a reported decent results but beyond, I do not know of the safety of the Q-link device, and what impact it'll have on your health.

If I had not had the Trifield meter in my possesion, I never would have known about the phenomenon concerning the Q-link. What else did the Trifield meter reveal? Some of you may never purchase a device that measures EMFs but you don't have to wonder where they are. I will share with you my personal "measuring experiences". One thing I cannot do however is tell whether your home is grounded correctly or not. A Trifield will reveal problems if you have them.

Basically, any device plugged into a wall will give you an EMF signal and some will be much higher than others. Your exposure to these signals is largely impacted on how close you are to it. If your home is not grounded correctly, added new technology to the home can drastically change the way electricity enters your home. One thing you definately want to know about your home is whether or not you have a healthy neutral line. This is very important. A bad neutral or home not well grounded can make everything you plug in "dirty". Another name for this is stray voltage. A dirty power line or broken neutral can do the same. People rarely know their homes electrical state. I have read many accounts in some people of all health problems disappearing after correcting electrical/EMF issues. In these cases, their health problems either stemmed from EMFs, or the EMFs was magnifying a smaller problem.

When I used the Trifield, I measured that was plugged into a wall and on gave off an EMF signal, and the larger the device the higher the signal with some exceptions. The stray voltage is so unpredictable. There were homes that "pulsed" (it is said that this is one of the more harmful types of EMFs". I suspect that some homes aren't grounded correctly to begin with, and the addition of electronic items appliances either magnify the problem, or creates a problem that was never there to begin with. Dimmer switches are notorious for doing this. In the case of electricity, either you or your water pipe can very well end up being the item it uses to ground itself. Stray electricity like this will keep seeking a ground until it finds one.

Computer screens and television screens gave nice strong signals, and electric stoves gave off high readings, stainless steel stoves gave off even higher ones. For sound systems, the signals can vary greatly, as the radio waves gave strength to the signal. A/C units in hotels give very strong signals. The space right in front of televisions, like computer monitors put out high signals, and large televisions put out strong signals at a greater distance. For every single mouselick you perform on your computer, a very strong electromagnetic signal is sent quickly, then the signal is terminated however the EMF from the monitor remains constant. The "back of monitors of tvs" was even stronger. If you want to avoid these, give yourself at least 2 feet for computers and 4 feet for tv's. Breaker boxes put out some very high signals. Give yourself a good 3 feet away from them.

The signal in a running car is very high, and I suspect it varies depending on the make and model of your car. The older cars that don't run on computers put out much less EMFs than the more modern cars, which have a computer under the hood. I would not be surprised that illness has fallen on some people due to the design of their car. Some people have modified their cars to eliminate the EMF effect but I've yet to meet someone who knows how to do this personally. Inside the car, the signal is higher around the steering wheel, in and around the dashboard, and near the speakers if the radio is playing. If while in a car, you are in a lane that is lined with power lines on one side, the signal from the power lines does enter the car and it is pretty high, combining with the effect of the car. Don't sit still in a running vehicle if you don't have to. If you take a walk, you expose yourself less if you walk on the side of the road that does not have the power lines. The power lines put out signals of up to several feet away. I was interesting how one neighborhood will have clean power lines (moderately high EMFs) and another neighborhood would have all kinds of electrical activity occuring, with pulsing, high voltage appearing randomly, etc. You get a nice EMF dose if you take a walk on a sidewalk with power lines above, and if the lines are "dirty", well, let's hope you don't take walks under power lines each day. The "dirty ones" put out a tremendous amounts of EMFs.

A dead end road seem to put out much less EMF than all other types of streets. On one dead end street I was on, they had an EMF reading of zero. Curiously, a privately owned electric company was stationed on this street. The personnel (electricians) inside was well-aware of the harmful effects of high EMFs and had eliminated it entirely from the street, so every building on that street benefitted. I was surprised at this, but he explained how it works.

Now, the Trifield demonstrated that electric towers give off signals of astronomical proportions and it is with no doubt in my mind that people who's homes are built really close to these units are being affected. When in my car, the signal was so strong from these devices, the Trifield meter will pick it up while I was driving, long before I was able to see the tower. I can always tell when there was a tower nearby. The signal from a electri tower or a cell phone mast, and the effect of the car, together, added up to a whopper. Now, a running vehicle reminds me of a big fat EMF signal you're sitting in that's in motion, and seems to "grab" a hold to everything you pass while in it. How much of that signal actually enters your body depends on how well your car is grounded, how dehydrated you are, and how well your body can neutralize them.

In hotels with wireless, the Trifield meter picked up higher signals for those who stayed on the upper floors (I always noticed some type of antennae device on the roof in these cases). There were times in hotels and well as in a home, I'd get a high signal from a wall. I came to the conclusion that there was a large electronic device on the other side of the wall, perhaps a breaker box. In some cases a bed was placed right against this wall, so a person would sleep in that bed, getting zapped with EMF all night.

In a home where there were alot of entertainment devices around, and especially when they were several were on, it was an "EMF jungle". Also, that "surround sound effect" is just that, you are literally surrounded by high amounts of EMFs. The Trifield meter became very unstable in these cases, and never found a resting point.

Finally, the Trifield meter revealed a very interesting phenomenon concerning the use of computers. For every mouse click on a computer, the hand on the Trifield would jump to the right and back again. Basically when you use a mouse you "pulse" yourself with every click. I imagine this effect is magnified when you are in a room full of people and computers.

The best thing to do to cut down on EMF signals if you would like to cut back on these "antioxidant robbers", is to unplug things you aren't using (that'll save you a few dollars on utility too), don't leave entertainment devices on that you are not watching or listening to, keep that cell phone away from your head, and whatever you do don't put a cell phone to your ear and drive at the same time...the EMF you're hit with is ridiculous ( I measured the combined effect). By far, do not sleep in a running vehicle in you're on a road trip and take a quick break, and keep any and all electric devices a good distance from your head if they are plugged in, and especially if they are on. When we sleep, our defense against EMFs is reduced dramatically. For mothers, if you have a sleeping baby on a room monitor so you can hear it cry, keep the base device about 4 to 5 feet away from the baby, as it gives off a nice strong signal. Brain is going through very rapid development, especially up to its 6 month of life. Dividing cells in a baby are vulnerable to been insulted by EMFs much more easily than an adult.

Finally, if you have an old cordless, be surprised to find out that the EMF signal is higher than a cell phone, and as for cell phones, I highly recommend you do anything but put it up to your head. There is a dew "air tube" headset that suppose to eliminate the cell phone effect. It is said to be designed like a doctor's stethoscope.

It is impossible to eliminate all sources of EMFs out of your lives but for those of us who want to keep these stressors out of our lives, perhaps the information you have read will be of good use. I think the information can be especially useful for those who have ever suffered from cancer, suffer from any chronic illness, have some type of immune dysfunction, or simply interested in removing controllable sources of stress out of their life.

Longevity Habits Of People Who Live A Long Time

Its  a combination of many factors such as plumbing, the quality of the city's water, the cookware, food habits, and whether or not the water is interacting with their pipes, and so on...

You may hear about people in other countries you will probably never visit, living to ripe old ages, but its hard to learn anything from them because the reality of the matter is, those people are thousands of miles away and you have to rely on information someone else collected, but you truly never have the opportunity to "verify" the information for yourself. Well, you do not have that problem here. The information is actually "right in your own backyard", and you can verify it anytime you please, every day if you so desire. All you need is a few minutes with a cooperative elderly, or a younger person who knows someone (or knew someone) who "was" or "is"-- very old. You do not have to go and find some scientific published research study that is hard to understand, you do not have to ask a long list of questions, you do not have to know what genotype the person is or what diseases run through the family, or if they took some magic formula, you do not have to know any and everything he/she ate, because many times you'll find they ate some things some researchers consider "very unhealthy", and you do not have to know how many strokes they had along the way or how many times they had cancer, or how long he are she has had Alzheimer's Disease. All you have to know is how old the person is right now (or was), and their water/plumbing history.

If you don't have time to bother with such details, consider drinking clean water by purchasing one of the many products out there, such as this one.     Otherwise, keep reading!

The Plumbing

I can refer to these people (who's longevity is linked to their water consumption) hopefully without offending any of them, as "water heads". Every single one of them. The more I asked the more I began to realize--there are a good number of very old people around. Many times if they were on well water, you don't even have to ask about the plumbing because rarely will you find one that stuck PVC pipes from their well to their home, or had a slab of PVC at the bottom of their well. If they did it happened not too long ago and it was because their own piping system had bursted (from being very very old). It sounds too simple but that is just the way it is. That is their longevity is pointing their water/plumbing history. I do not know how or why the water and plumbing appears to be determining their lifespan (although I do have one idea) because I do not know the mechanics, but that is what I keep seeing over and over again. With experience, you can actually begin to recognize a particular look about them. Get into the habit of talking to several, you'll see what I mean. A typical conversation may start off as "You're on well water aren't you? They would either say Yes! How did you know that? " Or they would say "I was for years but I moved in with my [son or daughter] and I'm not on it anymore". So, indeed there is a fountain of youth, its called "groundwater" and its running through the pipes in your home. There's more about the pipes beside the type of pipe. Some people's water pipes are being used to ground electricity. I have yet to verigy it but I suspect this has a negative impact on health. I will say this, in most cases, particularly of centennarians they spend almost their entire life on a total lack of fluoride added to their water. At the least, they may have had chlorine. You'll find both fluoride and chlorine in column 7 of the periodic table, aka "bleach column". Now, for the people which is on "city water", which is still well-water (this is not that disgusting "surface water" as some cities are now using, the home was not at all very far from the well. Many times, they knew exactly where the well was. Here's an interesting story: I found a 'cluster' of people at some extremely ripe ages living on a city water system that supposedly added fluoride to the water. I thought this was strange because I had never seen it over the course of talking with folks. This neighborhood was pumping out people in their nineties (even upper nineties) and since I knew it was something about the water and the pipes, I started talking to some of them. I got lucky because the first person I spoke with was a retired plumber. The first thing I learned was, just because a city "fluoridates its water" does not mean every single neighborhood in that city is getting fluoride. What became immediately obvious is, there was no fluoride tank near the well, just a chlorine tank. As if a confirmation of this, many of the people in this neighborhood also had "bad teeth", they didn't have that fluoride speckle. If you're on city water and want more info. on how your water ends up in your home, just click on my other article, "Where's the Water?"

City Water Quality

Now, here are some interesting habits of the very hold people living here in the USA: If they expose themselves to different people everyday, most don't wait for an infection to occur, they "ward off" infections. They learned this from their ancestors. Some will take castor oil periodically, some will eat garlic every day, some have an herb regime.

Attitude Towards Sickness

Many times there are no major or chronic diseases. However, it does happen sometimes.  If these people who live to be very old do get sick, they don't let it go away on its on, they TREAT IT, and they treat it immediately with whatever has worked for them in the past. If they have a health altering event, such as a stroke, they didn't get too upset about it. Many of them had one or several strokes throughout the course of their life, some even at very young ages. One 90 year old who is still alive today, had her first stroke when she was 29, then another just a few years after that, had kidney problems and even some heart problems. She just "kept on trucking". Many of them view these disease as a "part of living". They do not scrutinize it or wonder why it happened. They just do ...whatever to avoid it happening again. Something I found curious, some of them, family members will tell me...they have had 3 (or 4) strokes and don't even know it! I have a friend who's parent's live in Franklin, LA. The father is 97 now. This man is one such person. When he forgets things, they just laugh at him. I knew an old pastor, every time a family member washed the dishes, that person would dip the dishes in boiling water to removed "whatever is left" and to kill anything that was missed. He said his grandfather (a vegetarian that lived to be 113 years of age, and who was on well water most of his life), taught him that.

The Cookware

Their cookware is not like most of ours. Most of the time, I would see a crockpot or some type of aluminum cookware, and very often cast iron. They still had those old pots someone handed down to them. I have yet to see one with all stainless steel pots in the kitchen.

Food Habits

They always eat at least one of the vegetables with the huge leaves (the collards, the turnips, or the mustards). I finally looked at a government published site to see what was so special about them. The most obvious thing that stood out is that they were superior in Vitamin K. No other vegetable even came close to the amount of Vitamin K they had. Alot of the older people I came across were "gazers". What they gaze at only they know. They like to have quiet moments just watching people go by, or just look out across their property at ???? They were on a superior water system. If they gew food, they grew their food with this water. This is the single thing I saw over and over again.

Water and Food Saviness

Some were pretty "water savy" too. One 88 year old lady told me, "they build those new houses, those things spring up so fast, its no telling what they put in them". Her house was so old, it had begun to collect mites. It looked like something you'd see in a movie. Something kept biting me, so I'm guessing that's what they were. I was surprised she lived by herself. I asked her if she drank bottled water, she said "No, don't you look at tv, some people are taking baths in so called Spring Water". I decided I'd look into the source of the next bottled water I picked up, and bit of research revealed the source of the water turned out be shared by a recreation center. She was right. People were indeed bathing in the same water, there were pictures on the internet advertising the water. This is what they were using to make bottled water. Hmmm. I guess that's no better than "surface water". Many of those I spoke with, if they couldn't afford it (through time, money, or effort), they simply got if from someone else. If something happened where they could no longer grow vegetables for themselves, they simply would buy (or in most cases get for free) vegetables off someone who was growing what they wanted. They developed a relationship with this person..solely for the purpose of getting something they wanted eat. Or, they'd go to the farmers market. Almost all of them knew about the farmers market and had stories to tell. On one occasion I met a lady in South Carolina shopping at the healthfood store. She looked to be in her seventies. She turned out to be 93 years old. I was shocked, no cane...nothing. I picked up some organic produce and showed it to her. She said "They're doing something to that. It just doesn't come out that pretty." I get my greens from an old fellow who grows it on his property. I asked her "so why do you shop here?" She said "I come here only when i can't find what I want from someone else". Speaking of greens, as I mentioned before, almost all of them ate greens and always had some little small piece of meat to put in it. For whatever reason, if they didn't live in the country, many of them lived in a small neighborhood that had alot of dead end roads. Sometimes, people don't have time to grow foods and resort to learning and eating superfoods, such as what's described here.

If you have time to grow your own food, read on for some tips!  Very old people tend to be in tune with how food grows. To them, knowing what was season was like knowing how old they were. It is no big deal. Some are quite sophisticated at it too. I was on the phone with an elderly and was trying to finish off some okra I was eating and talk at the same time. He said "What are you eating?. I said "okra". The response was "Okra? This time of year? Where does okra grow this time of year?" I was tempted to say "in the grocery store." A member of a church I visited said "Well, this friend of mine, he was 107. Grew all of his own food and lived on well water. Now, for whatever reason, this gentleman refused to buy anything out of the grocery store other than salt and coffee. He never bought anything other than salt and coffee". One lady who lives in Nashville and who had several family members in their nineties who weren't farmers, but did grow a few vegetables (and who were on well water) says to never plant beans on a Full Moon. You can learn about all this in the Farmers Almanac". She said corn, when planted on a Full Moon, grows so fast you can hear it growing. I bring the issue of corn up because it is the one food where you will find the amino acid methionine. Animals (and humans) tend to be deficient in what are called the limiting amino acids. There are just a few of them and methionine is one of them. When an amino acid is limiting, it makes it very difficult for the body to use all the rest of them, so the other ones begin to pile up and have negative influences on the body. With animals, the amino acids are balanced by creative manipulation of their food. For humans, regardless of how superior your diet is, if you are short on any one of the limiting amino acids it'll make it difficult to achieve optimal health. For many old persons, the smallest space in the world is enough to grow something. I met a very old lady who had to move further into the city with her daughter. She started growing her tomatoes in a flower pot. She said "Its something wrong with her water. I've been growing tomatoes in pots for years, and I haven't ever had them just die like that. They won't even grow. What am I supposed to eat?" Another very old lady was asked by family members what would she like as a gift. She told them she wanted a water well, because she didn't like the way the city water tasted. So they bought her one. She says "it's sweet, like water is supposed to be." I have had some extremely old people say their water is "sweet". They have been a member of the same church for years on end. To them growing something was not a daunting task. I believe when many of us think about growing something, we think "first i have to get a house, then I have to learn how to plant a garden..then, and it seems like it will be very time consuming. Some of the elderlies I spoke with would plant something in a tiny space in a heart beat and wouldn't think twice about it. Living in an apartment didn't stop them. They'd put some herbs in a pot. Having to move into a house that didn't have much of a yard didn't stop them either. They plant the vegetable right up against the house...in a very small spot of space. To them, all they need is a little hand and leg room. A gentleman I met was telling me about his 98 year old grandmother who lived in Nashville then moved to Florida. "He said, she has had 2 strokes, but it never really put her down. She lived in that same old house for years. She never planted vegetables but she always planted 3 herbs, mint, thyme, and rosemary, right in her backyard. Her soil was red, this weird looking red color." I said where in Nashville did she live? "Off 5th street". (Okay, that's the second lady I heard out over the age of 95 who lived off 5th street in Nashville). The other one I met personally, and she said "I can't go a 2 weeks without eating liver and onions". She had "happy hour alot" She lived in her same old house for years.

The Old "Odd" Couple

Now let's talk about the most intriguing couple of all. I know a couple, They live in Texas. They are both in their nineties, are on county (treated) water, and have never grown a single thing in their entire life. Ever. In addition, her daughter said, "They eat whatever they want. They shop at the grocery store and buy...well, whatever!" I just could not understand it, because it was the first time I had come across a couple that old on treated water, and didn't grow anything. Well, they did live in the same house for years on end, and the house is on the outskirts of the city. The daughter was nice enough to tell me the name of their water supplier. I decided to look into the water supplier. I read about their water. The first thing that jumped out at me is how "superior" their water was. The water company "boasted" about their water. I dug a bit more deeply and found out that the water this couple is drinking comes from over 2,000 feet beneath the ground. That is 2 miles beneath the ground. Most wells don't run that deep. On one occasion I drove through a small town and had to turn around because I thought "I know I didn't see what I think i just saw". It was a water well at a church! The church was on well water. It was a small church. As a matter of fact after I drove a couple of more miles..I noticed, all the churches were on well water. One member said "Well, water is the way to go. My mom lived to be 97 and she was on well water. She says, "the best well water is the ones that sits on top of the sulpur bed. It'll purify your water like none other. So, since some people couldn't afford to have wells at their home, the church got together and decided to put a well at the church. We're out of the city limits so we can do that." I started to ask what kind of pipes they used but it was obvious because they came up out of the ground. They were cast iron. Speaking of pipes, I have since learned that the theory behind using the old cast iron pipes were because the water will actually put a protective coating on the pipe so you don't eat the pipe. This takes in excess of 2 months to happen. PVC does not build up a coating. Well, after speaking of many of the persons, most of time I jotted down their county and state, and then used some databases to check their water. I do not know the meaning of this right now, but many times, I'd see that the county they lived in had natural sources of either copper, selenium, or sulfur in the water, or there was simply nothing natural in it other than nitrate. For the one couple who drank water that came from over 2000 feet beneath, their water flows through beds that have rare rocks and qualities you don't see unless you get that deep into the ground, and the water is going to be pretty magnetic as well.

Magnetic vs. Electromagnetic Water

If magnetic water is set on the counter in an open container, almost all of its "magnetism" will be loss within a few hours. Finally, very old people seem to substain themselves on lower amounts of electricity and EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies). This is an important issue and is a "runner up" to the issue with the pipes. If you want to make changes in your own life, you can gain alot from making simples changes in this arena, if you cannot address the water/pipe issue. This issue can only be addressed with awareness of your surroundings. I have provided step by step instructions concerning this  for those who may be interested. It'll be under a tab called "Electricity's Dirty Little Secret"

Final Points

Back to the issue on water, what do you do if the water is being fluoridated and you are on PVC? I'll tell you what some of those very old people are doing.. drinking bottled water because they didn't like the taste of their "new water". They will cook with it however. If you see that you live far from the water well and decide to drink bottled water (or you drink it already), note that if the water comes from a municipal source, unless the technique used was reverse osmosis, fluoride will be left behind. It is very difficult to remove fluoride from water. I do not recommend distilled water, as you can very well give yourself health problems with prolonged use of this type of water. Distilled may work well for detoxing, but not as a lifetime replacement. On a final note, I must say, because it was extremely obvious to me on observing the habits of very old people that, "There is something very special about "unprocessed" water coming from beneath the ground". Only God knows.

Sarcoidosis

If you have sarcoidosis your problem is with calcium. It is possible that a compound found in table salt, silica (also known as silicon dioxide), may increase sarcoidosis symptoms. Indeed, sarcoidosis share alot of symptoms with silicosis. Silica can also be inhaled from sandy soils, is added as a flowing agent in seasonings, can come from certain work gloves, from glass containers you eat and drink out of (glass is fused silica) or in some cases it is implanted (i.e. breast implants), and some foods are naturally very high in silica. If you're eating silica from a food source, it can be dissolved by boiling the food product in water for at least 10 minutes. If the silica is in supplements, find another supplement to better suit your purpose if you notice symptoms while taking it. It is said that silica 'transmutates' into calcium, which may explain the flare up of symptoms it has on some people with sarcoidosis. Many symptoms of sarcoidosis are due to high levels of the activated form of vitamin D, which increases absorption of calcium. Avoid all sources of vitamin D, including too much sunlight. Oatmeal and sweet potatoes have natural vitamin D, and some individuals may not be aware of this.

Sarcoidosis is found in higher amounts in the southeastern parts of the United States. If you live in an area with "limey water" and lots of sunlight, be on the lookout for symptoms increasing due to the high amount of calcium found in limestone. Your water supplier will know if your water is high in limestone. Note that lime (as calcium oxide from limestone) is purposefully added to some corn products (especially corn tortillas) to make the vitamin niacin available. Avoid stimulating your immune system unnecessarily by eating undercooked foods (especially red meat and eggs) and improperly washed raw foods contaminated with viruses and bacteria from the hands of others as they searched for which vegetable or fruit they wanted. If you do eat eggs, avoid getting that shell in it as it is mostly calcium carbonate. Don't crack eggshells in your eggs!

Many people with sarcoidosis share a common environmental problem with some people with Lupus and other autoimmune conditions: repeated exposure to pine trees can be a trigger. I met a lady in Florida (which has a tremendous amount of pine trees) who was first diagnosed with sarcoidosis, then a few years later was diagnosed with Lupus. She grew up living around lots of pine trees and because she lived in the country, they didn't have paved roads therefore poured white sand down to make roads. To top it all off, in addition to the pine trees growing naturally, she was surround by "pine farms", an agricultural business not alot of people are familiar with. I saw the sand used to pave the road and it is of the type that is very high in silica. Still today she lives around the sand and the pine trees (due to family), and still has autoimmune problems however she's a complete vegetarian now and claims many of her autoimmune symptoms don't bother her as much as long as she avoids meat and soy.

I met another lady who, as a child, was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. She said she frequently ran through a pine forest when she was a child. As an adult, she moved out of the U.S. and started eating lots of vegetables and was taking dolomite and said many of her symptoms just went away. Of course, you have to be careful with those "rock supplements". Her doctors recently told her she has a sodium deficiency. One thing that's obvious, there is something about certain pine trees that's not good for those with autoimmune conditions.

Stress can make it really hard to recover from sarcoidosis. Some, but not all people will get a rash that appears on the top of their feet at the same time they have a flare up of their sarcoidosis. Keeping your levels of stress down is very helpful. A very large stressor many with autoimmune is not aware of is the act of riding in a vehicle, especially if you are the driver. The level of stress in the body increases dramatically due to the high amount of electromagnetic radiation found in a vehicle that is turned on. In fact, it may be the largest source of your stress in any given day if you live a relatively quiet lifestyle but still deal with autoimmune problems. The immune system gets turned on, and if you have an autoimmune condition, this will turn on your autoimmune problems. A couple of years ago, I purchased a device called a trifield meter and measured EMFs in vehicles while they were turned on. I measured extremely high amounts in the front part of the car , especially near the stearing wheel, and underneath and around the dash board. I also measured pretty high amount from old cordless telephones (it was higher than cell phones), and near anything plugged up such as the tv, stove, refrigerator, typewriter, computer monitors, breaker boxes were very high, and sidewalks that were paved right beneath power lines. Although this issue may sound unrelated to sarcoidosis, it is very related because it has a negative impact on autoimmune conditions.

Surprisingly, sarcoidosis has been cured in some people with the use of an acne antibiotic, minocycline, implying that in some with sarcoidosis, there may be an infection involved, or an infection may have been the trigger. Minocycline also calms the immune system so this may be a factor as well. This antibiotic has a particular affect on acid fast bacteria, of which mycobacteria are amongst. Note that mycobacteria are sensitive to a food component, citrate (citric acid) because it removes calcium. Individuals that had success with minocyclin may or may not have used the Marshall Protocol (to prevent Herxheimer reactions). For those of you who are shy about using drugs, you may find it interesting that sarcoidosis has also been cured in some individuals with melatonin alone after 2 yrs of treatment. Finally, I have spoken personally with the mom who's entire family (including herself) had sarcoidosis. She also had a friend affected who was was estatically cured after struggling for years from sarcoidosis by drinking Goji juice. He'd have to pay about $40 for every bottle, and drank a few ounces everyday for 6 months. In all of these "cured cases", sarcoidosis seems to have its most dramatic response somewhere between 6 months to 2 years. In other individuals who simply adhered to the philosophy of avoiding all known triggers, sarcoidosis simply "burned itself out". Of course, there is always the possibility of the disease returning if certain conditions are met.
